When the Bookmark Rose Up

So that neat little drawing up above is panel five, of five, from the piece "When the robots rose up. . ." It's also, as the title of this post hints, the image that will appear on a bookmark. . . I think. I've wanted to do a bookmark for about as long as I've wanted to do a business card. Well, as with happened recently with the business card I finally drew something that I thought would work.

I like Tom Gauld's combination of simple composition yet overly (not the best word but I'll use it for now) inked panels and pages.

I think overly inked works force the reader, to a certain extent, to slow down and read a comic more how the writer meant it to be read.
